SERVICE ADVOCATE/FACILITY MANAGER

PALESTINE

FULL-TIME POSITION

Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm

37.50 hours/week, Paid working Lunch

Base Rate of Pay: Depends on Experience

Includes on-call rotation for after-hours and on weekends (paid overtime for any calls).

​

Duties: Supervises staff members providing on/off- site, community supports and vocational direct care services according to facility license. 

​

Responsible for creating and ensuring the implementation of services for each person with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities on his/her caseload. Travel is required. Company vehicle provided for traveling to and from community locations.

 

Responsible for conducting consumer-specific activities in both residential and community settings, including transportation of individuals receiving community supports services.

​

Qualifications: Prefer 1-year of supervisory experience.  Must have High School Diploma or GED and current Texas Driver License. Computer literate and proficient in both Excel and Word with typing speed of at least 40 wpm with minimal errors. Two years’ experience working in an office setting. Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Verbal and written communication skills required. Must have ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner with consumers, families, and outside agencies.
